PGR eSports 2nd biggest race of the year, the Summer Slam 499 from Talladega Superspeedway will take place Thursday July 31st through Sunday August 3rd 2025. Drivers will climb aboard NASCAR's GEN-6 cup car as they battle for not only large cash prizes, but the championship belt and a year of bragging rights. For four days drivers will be tested on the 33 degree high banks of Talladega with only one driver coming out on top. Last year it was eNASCAR Coke Series driver Malik Ray taking home the strap!

When
The Summer Slam 499 will take place on Thursday July 31st through Sunday August 3rd 2025. Heats will be ran Thursday and Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. The Duels will be held Saturday after the Heats. The Feature will take place on Sunday. Drivers must be flexible prior to registering. Heat selection will be based on iRating. Heats will begin on Thursday at 8:00pm est. The feature race will be at 1:00pm est on Sunday. See more times below.
Race Purse
Drivers will battle for a $6,000 dollar purse in which 100% of all entry fees will makeup the prize pool. Payouts will scale with less than 200 entries. The top 30 in the Feature will be paid with the race winner taking home $1,750.00. The winner of each Heat race will win $60.00 and the Duel winners receive $100.00 each. Oh and did we mention the race winner gets the championship belt?! Scroll down for more payout information. We are working on the entire feature field getting at least their money back!
Format
The GEN-6 cup car will be the primary car for the Summer Slam 499. The event will be based off 200 max entries and will begin with 8 heat races over the course of 3 days (Thursday and Friday night and Saturday afternoon). The top 10 from each heat will make Saturday's Duels (early evening). The top 20 drivers from each will transfer to the Feature on Sunday afternoon. See more details below.

PGR eSports will broadcast the entire 4-day event. All heats including the Duels will be broadcasted along with the 499 on Sunday.
